MANOJ SAJNANI asked:

Since the beginning of time, crystals have proved to be of great value to mankind.Crystals are used to increase wealth, longetivity, relationships, and for power & popularity. They have curative powers as well as the power to pour in fortune & drive away evil.Certain crystals have the power of healing & fortune giving & have made life happier for many people.

Crystals are mother earth’s gift to us,formed within her body, they are living energy,in a way they are the key to the universe. Each particular type of crystal can be seen as a key,& we can use these keys to access specific energies, whether that be for healing, meditation, protection, understanding,as well as a thousand other uses. Many different cultures have utilized the power of crystals for as long as humans have inhabited the earth.

Crystals can help with relaxation, self growth, stress reduction, increased self confidence, heightened awarness & self-awarness,increased spirituality,& restore balance to mind, body & spirit.Crystals also assist the body in shattering & throwing off that which is causing infection or disease.Crystals have long been recognised for their unique healing properties. The energies from crystals react from our aura of energy, energy in the area (office, home and vehicle) & make the balance of energies. The crystals are alive-entities pulsating, radiating & vibrating at different rates. They create strong energy fields, which enable us to be charged with their energies;they activate our abilities, soothe & comfort, heal & balance through the purity & directness of their beams.

We all have our own life/energy force, and we have energy points called ‘Chakras’.Crystals are used by healers to help realign chakras,as they can assist the healing process,& can be programmed for particular jobs.Crystals can enhance, promote & help bring choosen energies.Placing a specific crystal on a chakra helps to envoke & stimulate the most subtle forces.A quick look at the world around us shows everything to be either ‘Crystalline’ or potentially crystalline. The human body is also crystalline in nature. The largest single element in the human body is water, which is a form of ‘liquid crystal’.The blood is also liquid crystal. The trace minerals etc. are all crystalline in nature.

The following is a list of a few crystals. This information is not intended to substitute for proper medical attention:-

Amethyst:sedative energy,stability,strength & peace.

Aquamarine:courage,intellect,protection.

Citrine:positive energy,warmth,joy,optimism.

Garnet:commitment,devotion,love,stability.

Jade:harmony,peace,confidence.

Lapis Lazuli:knowledge,wisdom,perfection.

Malachite:loyalty,fidelity,reasoning ability.

Peridot:healing,protection.

Lowry Mell asked:

Is There Magic In Crystal Animal Figurines?

Author: Lowry W. Mell

We aren’t talking about the slight of hand of the magician nor the wizardry of Merlin. We are talking about the kind of magic we wanted to believe in when we were kids.

When we watch Tinker Bell fly across our TV screen leaving a trail of sparkling fairy dust, we immediately transfer ourselves to that magical

zone of enchantment. That enchantment zone may be different for each of us. It could be one of joy, or happiness, or tranquility, or anticipation or a host of things that you

could name for yourself. So where is the magic in a crystal figurine?

I discovered the answer over ten years ago while reluctantly shopping with my wife and mother-in-law at a local mall. As we passed a beautiful gift store, my mother-in-law, closely followed by my wife, made a bee-line straight for a glass display case just inside the entrance. They were in there for quite awhile, then came out and said they had a few more things to get.

While my ladies continued shopping the other stores, I rested on a bench outside the

gift shop. I was amazed at how many people walked by the entrance, saw the display case and walked in for a closer look.

Finally, I couldn’t stand it any longer. I had

to go into that store to find out what was the big attraction that lured so many people to that glass case. The case held somewhere between twenty and thirty beautifully and expertly crafted crystal animals and crystal figurines.

With so many figurines in such a small area, the case had a glowing effect with rays of light jumping in all different directions. I was at

first stunned by this very powerful display and then settled in to admire the fine detail and workmanship of the individual pieces.

Surprisingly, I found myself in a strange zone, one I only experience when I;m in a home improvement store looking at tools and imagining all the projects I could do with them. Imagine a grown man standing at a glass display case, mesmerized by the beauty and workmanship of the crystal figurines, thinking so and so would like this one and that one would be a great gift for so and so;.That’s not a zone most men are accustomed to experiencing. I was enchanted!

A few minutes later a young woman came to the case looking carefully at each crystal animal while softly cooing to herself. After a few minutes of oohhs and aahhs, I said, “Judging by the sounds you’re making, you really like these. Without looking up, she answered, “Oh yes, I love crystal animals, they’re great collectibles.<

Curious, I then asked what attracted her to them. She looked up, smiled and said, “It’s the sparkle in crystal, it’s like magic. I pondered that comment for awhile, not really understanding what she meant.

A few months later, I gave a friend a crystal cat figurine. When she opened the crystal gift she fell into that moment of enchantment. We all could see it on her face. She said when she

opened the box she saw the sparkle before she realized it was crystal and was overwhelmed by the beauty of the figurine. That was her magical moment and I finally understood the experience.

.

There is magic in a crystal animal figurine. Like fairy dust, magic is in the sparkle, and the sparkle is in the crystal

Crystal Reviews asked:

A set of high quality crystal glasses is an investment that would make the buyer happy for life. Because unlike other products made from glass or china, crystal doesn’t go out of style or grow old. The reason is because crystal products require a high quality of craftsmanship, the reason that makes them special and expensive of course. Thus it is very important to buy a good quality of crystal products, because they will be with you for the rest of your life, provided you take care of them. In this article we will look at Crystal Barware sets from the best crystal companies.

1. Waterford

Waterford has been making crystal products for a long time. Their Lismore collection was introduced in 1952, and even today its a hit. Simplicity of this design makes them very attractive and indeed classic. You can also check out their Huntly DOF sets.

2. Reidel

Reidel specializes in barware. They have an exquisite range of collections for all occasions. I specially liked their Vinum Collection. Martini sets are equally good. Reidel has always kept their designs minimalist and simple, yet their barware collections are classic.

3. Schott Zwiesel (SZ)

SZ also has a good collection of crystal barware. Their products are simple and generally affordable. They have a complete range of barware ranging from Champagne to water. I liked the SZ fine – water collection.

4. Miller Rogaska

Miller and Rogaska make very stylish yet contemporary barware. Their SOHO collection is one my favorites. Do checkout their SOHO beverage set which includes 4 Soho DOF glasses, Soho square decanter with very stylish ebony leather trimmed tray.

5. Nambe

If you really want to stand out from the crowd, or are feeling bold, go for Nambe barware. Their designs are unique. While rest of the companies keep it simple and classic, Nambe makes highly creative designs. Check out the Nambe Tilt collection. It has to be one of the most attractive set of crystal barware.

I hope you have enjoyed reading this post. Watch out for more reviews on other crystal products.

How can I remove the super glued Swarovski crystals from my T-Mobile Sidekick?

Friday, November 13th, 2009
1S414H’S 4 PL4Y3R asked:

About a month ago, I purchased genuine Swarovski crystal elements from a craft store. They didn’t come with adhesive backs, so I super glued them around the screen of my T-Mobile Sidekick. A few have fallen off and I don’t want the remainder of them on my phone anymore. Since it’s near the screen, I want to avoid liquid solutions if possible. I’ve tried scraping, tweezers, rubbing alcohol, nothing seems to loosen the crystals. Any ideas?

Chonticha Marijne asked:

Before setting sail on a cruise line, check out several different companies to find the one that best suits your travel desires. Want a short cruise or a world cruise? Crystal Cruise lines have something for every taste. Whether you want to sail to New England or to the Orient, Crystal Cruise lines have an adventure designed to please.

Crystal Cruise lines sail to Africa, Asia, the Caribbean and the Mediterranean. They also sail to the Mexican Riviera and northern Europe. If warmer climes are for you, try the Panama Canal or South American ports of call. If you’re in the mood for something completely different, you can opt for trans-ocean crossings of both the Atlantic and Pacific oceans and a world cruise that sails to forty-four ports in over twenty-five different countries. Bring plenty of clothes for that one, however, as it lasts over one hundred days.

Crystal Cruise lines pride themselves on offering affordable luxury to passengers and put together packages that allow one to choose their own sailing theme adventure and ports of call sightseeing fun, including hot air ballooning, horseback riding, river-rafting and canoeing, and even scuba diving expeditions. Crystal Cruise lines incorporate history, art, culture and adventure into every journey. Several different options are available to choose from, including Crystal Private Adventures and Crystal Adventures Shore Excursions. Crystal Cruise lines’ private adventures are customized shore experiences for guests. Crystal Cruise lines also offers hotel and extended land programs for passengers seeking the ultimate in a world-class sailing adventure. Various ships sail to different destinations. For example, the Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony sail to Africa and visit ports from Cape Town to Casablanca. The Crystal Symphony also sails to Asia, with ports of call in China, Japan, Thailand and Vietnam.

Crystal Cruise lines offer memory packed journeys to suit almost any budget, but saving a little longer will be rewarded with a Crystal Cruise sailing adventure. Take their 2007 Destination information, for example. The Crystal Symphony sails on a Grand Pacific Passage trans-ocean, value collection theme crossing which sails from Los Angles, California to Hong Kong, a 17-day journey that costs roughly $3,000. Don’t forget that includes the amenities. The Ancient Dynasties voyage, with a Smithsonian Journey’s theme, sails from Hong Kong to Beijing on the same ship. That journey costs approximately $4,800 and includes sightseeing attractions in Beijing. The same ships travels from Beijing back to Hong Kong and then on to Singapore, Dubai and then back to Hong Kong, allowing passengers to embark and disembark at any point during the journey.

These types of journeys and offerings are available with every destination, including the Caribbean and the Mediterranean voyages. Membership will also allow for discounts and special offers. Few cruise lines go to such trouble to make sure that every moment, both on land and on sea, are geared for the ultimate enjoyment of the passenger. With Crystal Cruise lines, you can be assured that your sailing experience will be the best you could have imagined and then some.
