How do I clean up the used crystals from a disposable diaper?

So I dropped my son’s used diaper on our nice new wooden floor. There were pieces of diaper everywhere and smelled horrible! As I attempted to clean up the mess, I realized those gross little gel crystals were everywhere. I tried a dust broom, a dry swiffer vac, papertowels and Lysol wipes. I felt like I was just spreading the mess everywhere! Gross!
