What is the best way to attach rhinestones or crystals to acrylic?

Could I use regular super glue? Or is there a special glue for plastic/acrylic? Should I have the acrylic engraved with little shallow hollows to fit the crystals in to make it extra strong?

try super glue, if that doesn’t work, i would say use hot glue. That is always a good binding agent for crafts. You could also try Tacky glue, in the gold bottle. ask a clerk at the craft store if you don’t know what i’m talking about. they’ll know what you mean.

E6000 glues almost anything to almost anything. It dries clear too. You can find it at craft stores as well as home improvement stores. Not too expensive.

The best product for gluing something that will stay and will not disolve at all is Gorillia Glue. You only use a small amount and it will hold no matter what. otherwise you can use a 2 part apoxy these are both great products. and will last way longer then regular superglue. hope this helps
