Which crystals are good protection from haunted spirits?

I am going on a ghost tour next week and would really like to sense the spirits on this tour without having to worry about negative effects from unsettled, or even, evil spirits. Are there crystals that I could wear/carry that would allow me to feel/communicate with the spirits (in order for me to ensure their existence) without any negative issues?

      You’ll need a string of garlic, a cross, some holy water, a mirror, a silver bullet and a wooden stake. That should cover it.
